Frequently asked questions

Do you work on spot volume or structured programs?
We primarily operate through structured B2B programs from Panama. As direct producers, we work with buyers who plan ahead, define regular delivery windows, and seek long-term commercial continuity. Structured programs allow us to optimize our production, guarantee availability, and maintain consistent quality standards.
What information do you need to quote a program?
To structure an initial proposal we need: specific product (e.g., MD-2 pineapple, green coffee), estimated weekly or monthly volume, desired shipping frequency, destination country and port, target time window, and quality specifications or certifications required. With this information we can validate our production capacity and build a realistic logistics plan.
Do you handle MOQ or minimum volumes per program?
Yes. Minimums vary by product and logistics format. For maritime MD-2 pineapple shipments, the typical minimum is 1 container (40ft). For specialty coffee, we work from lots of 5-10 bags depending on profile. For air freight of premium fruits, minimums are more flexible. Specific MOQs are defined during technical and commercial validation.
Which international markets do you export to from Panama?
We supply MD-2 pineapples and tropical agricultural exports from Panama to importers and distributors across the United States and Canada, Europe (including the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, and Switzerland), the Middle East (United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Oman), and select Asian markets such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, and South Korea. Programs are structured according to destination market requirements and applicable import regulations.
What certifications do you have available?
We maintain GlobalGAP certification (required for European retail), USDA and EU organic, Rainforest Alliance, and Fair Trade based on specific program requirements. For specialty coffee, we also offer profiles with documented SCA scores. Available certifications depend on the specific product and production line.
What is the typical process to start a program?

We operate on a ready-to-ship model for qualified buyers.

The process includes:

  1. confirmation of specifications and commercial terms,
  2. allocation of available production,
  3. packing and cold chain preparation, and
  4. dispatch scheduling.

For in-season MD-2 pineapple programs, initial shipments can be executed within 7–14 days, depending on volume and destination. Structured supply programs can be established within 2–3 weeks.

How do you handle quality control?
We control quality specifications directly at our farms and packing plants in Panama. This includes ripeness verification (Brix degrees for fruit), size/caliber, absence of defects, packaging per buyer specifications, and traceability documentation. For specialty coffee, this includes cupping and profile evaluation before shipment.
